Biography:
Wei Ai is an assistant professor in the College of Information with an appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
Ai’s research focuses on large-scale behavior data analysis that includes multidisciplinary methodologies using machine learning, causal inference and experimental design. He works in applied areas of data science that include data science for social good, computational social science, recommender systems, and social and information network analysis
