Postdoctoral Fellow, Quantum Information & Many-Body Physics

Sean Muleady is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) working with Alexey Gorshkov. His research explores the intersection of many-body physics, quantum information, and AMO (atomic, molecular, and optical) platforms, focusing on using trapped atoms and molecules to simulate complex many-body behaviors like quantum chaos and thermalization to enhance quantum sensors. Additionally, Muleady develops computational methods such as phase space techniques, tensor networks, and cluster methods to model realistic many-body systems relevant to current quantum simulators.
