Donovan Buterakos

Donovan Buterakos is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS) working with Justyna Zwolak. He is also a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Buterakos’s research focuses on using machine learning techniques to automate the tuning of quantum dot devices. By applying deep learning, neural networks, and computer vision, he processes measurement data and generates labeled datasets for training machine learning models.
