Louiqa Raschid is a professor in the Robert H. Smith School of Business with an appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
Raschid has made pioneering contributions to data integration, management and mining across various non-traditional domains. Her multidisciplinary research connects computer science with business information systems and includes applications in life sciences, health sciences, disaster relief, social behavior modeling and financial ecosystems.
