Jordan Boyd-Graber is a professor of computer science with an appointment in the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.
His research is focused on making machine learning more useful, more interpretable, and able to learn from and interact with humans. This includes extensive work in the application of topic models, completely automatic tools that can discover structure and meaning in large, multilingual datasets.
