Rita Colwell attends dinner with King Harald of Norway at Kavli Prize Week 2012

Rita Colwell, a panelist in the 2012 Kavli Prize Science Forum, attended the dinner with King Harald of Norway. The Kavli Prize recognizes scientists for their seminal advances in three research areas: astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience. It is a partnership between The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, The Kavli Foundation (US) and The Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research.

Dr. Colwell is a Distinguished Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park and a renowned environmental microbiologist and scientific administrator.
