Zhuolin Jiang
Zhuolin Jiang is an assistant research scientist in the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies at the University of Maryland. He received the BEng degree in computer science from the China University of Petroleum in 2004 and the PhD degree in computer science from the South China University of Technology in 2010. He was a PhD exchange student at the University of Maryland from 2008 to 2010. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the Institute for Advanced Computer Studies at the University of Maryland from 2010 to 2011. His research interests include Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning, specifically on human action detection and recognition, object detection and tracking, video content analysis and retrieval, sparse coding and sparse dictionary learning. He is a member of the IEEE.
