The
Moving Image Reclaimed: Computer-Based Analysis of Film
ABSTRACT
|
This
presentation will demonstrate how film scholars can get close
and immediate access to the moving image for purposes of analysis,
description, and comparison of such elements as cinematic space,
narrative construction, camera and lighting work, etc. The talk
will be based upon the CD-ROM, "Film, Form and Culture,"
published by McGraw-Hill and some new work under development.
