Within
the Imaging Sciences branch an DoD we recently adopted a set of
tools and procedures to allow us to better perform configuration
management, revision control, and support multiplatform development.
Our process make use of tools which are easily available including
Revision Control System(rcs), Baseline Control System (bcs), and
the GNU make software (gmake). We will present our process with
emphasis on how this has helped us better support the software
developed and what impact this has on our software developers.
